Laura Brazan graduated in 1981 from UCLA with a masters degree in Fine Arts after which she studied under engraving masters Dan Goodwin, Steve Huff and Winston Churchill.
Laura began her working career in 1983 as a master engraver in New York City with Tiffany & Co. and Stuart Moore Jewelers. In 1986 she left NYC to establish her own studio, explore the northwest and her passion for the outdoors. She eventually settled in Montana.
Laura is married and has three children. She has been a volunteer art teacher in her community and an advocate for underprivileged youth.
In 2006, Laura led the effort to have Whitefish, Montana nominated as one of “The 100 Best Communities for Young People” in the country by chairman Gen. Colin L. Powell.
